  1. 性平, 味甘, 無毒.

    Its nature is neutral, its taste sweet, and it is non-toxic, making it gentle enough for regular use.

  2. 主五痔.

    It treats the five types of hemorrhoids, which classical medicine categorized as distinct conditions all addressed by this nut.

  3. 去三蟲鬼疰, 消穀.

  4. 一名玉榧, 土人呼爲赤果.
