Original, read line by line 東醫寶鑑 · Tangaek — Decoctions vol. 2

It is slightly warm in nature, sweet in taste, and non-toxic — a gentle warming food that suits almost anyone.

It treats wind disorders of the joints, wind-induced numbness, and dizziness — soothing for those whose joints ache and heads spin in cold winds.

It moistens the skin, nourishes the five viscera, and replenishes those who are wasted and short of breath — a nourishing nut for dry skin and depleted vitality. (Bencao)

It is found everywhere, growing in deep mountains — gathered from the pine-clad slopes since ancient times.

The tree resembles pine and cypress, and the seeds look like melon seeds; one cracks the cone, takes out the kernels, peels them, and eats them — just as we still enjoy pine nuts today. (Sokbang)
