Related Crop · Persimmon (hongsi) →

Sosi is the date-plum, a persimmon relative of the gam in the crop guide. Its fruit is far smaller than a persimmon and hangs in dense clusters; it also went by unaesi, cow's-milk persimmon. The Donguibogam calls it extremely cold in nature and warns against eating much of it.
