栗楔 Chestnut

Related Crop · Chestnut →

Yulseol is the flat middle chestnut, the one pressed between its two siblings when a burr holds three nuts. It is fruit of the same chestnut as in the crop guide, given a name of its own only because that squeezing changes its shape. The passage runs on into Korean raspberry, bokbunja.
