Bisi is a persimmon whose skin carries a green-black cast, one branch of the same tree as the persimmon in the crop guide. The text calls it noksi, sets it apart from the soft red hongsi as a separate kind, and records it as colder in nature than hongsi.

  1. 性寒, 味甘, 無毒. 解酒毒, 潤心肺, 止渴, 去胃中熱.

    Its nature is cold, its taste sweet, and it is non-toxic. It resolves the toxin of liquor, moistens the heart and lung, stops thirst, and clears heat in the stomach.
