性溫一云煖, 味苦辛, 無毒.
성온일운난, 미고신, 무독.
Its nature is warm, also said to be hot, with a bitter and pungent taste and no toxicity.

消食, 散腸胃中惡氣浮風.
소식, 산장위중악기부풍.
It aids digestion and disperses foul qi and floating wind lodged in the stomach and intestines.

宿酒未醒, 食之速醒.
숙주미성, 식지속성.
When a hangover has not yet cleared, eating it sobers one up quickly.

其形圓, 大於橘而香, 皮厚而皺.
기형원, 대어귤이향, 피후이추.
Its shape is round, larger and more fragrant than a tangerine, with a thick, wrinkled peel.

八月熟, 生南方, 盖橘之類也. 《本草》
팔월숙, 생남방, 개귤지류야. 《본초》
It ripens in the eighth lunar month and grows in southern regions, being broadly of the tangerine family. From the Bencao.
