子 Gosussi (고수씨)
Coriander seed is the fruit of the coriander plant (胡荽, hosu) — the same small round grains known in the West as coriander seed. The Dongui Bogam records it as a sub-entry attached to its main article on coriander. In early summer the plant bears white flowers in umbrella-shaped clusters, and in their place ripen round seeds made of two halves joined together. Unlike the leaves, the seeds develop a subtle, sweet fragrance when toasted, which is why they find their way into curry powder and other spice blends.

主小兒禿瘡及五痔.
It chiefly treats dokchang (禿瘡, scalp sores) in children and the five kinds of hemorrhoids.
HomiclubIn early summer coriander opens white flowers in an umbel, and round seeds of two joined halves ripen in their place. Unlike the leaf, the roasted seed gives a mild sweet aroma and goes into curry powders and spice blends.

It treats bleeding from poisoning after eating meat, and it can bring out changjin (瘡疹, pox eruptions) that fail to appear. 《Boncho (本草)》
