Buricho is a daisy-family plant felted with white down, generally identified as a cudweed, Gnaphalium. It also went by the name seogukcho, and its young spring leaves were kneaded into rice cakes. Donguibogam marked it 【唐】, an import from China.

HomiclubBulicho is an aster-family herb whose leaves and stems are clothed in white wool, identified as the cudweed tteoksuk. It also went by the name seogukcho (鼠麴草), and its young spring leaves were gathered to knead into rice cakes.
