降眞香 Gangjinhyang (강진향)
Gangjinhyang is the fragrant heartwood of a southern tree, burned as incense. The Dongui Bogam marks it 【唐】, an import from China, calls it first among the incenses burned at rites to the stars, and passes on the old tale that its smoke draws cranes down to circle overhead.

性溫平, 無毒. 主天行時氣. 宅舍怪異.
Its nature is warm and neutral, and it is non-toxic. It governs sigi (時氣, seasonal qi) of cheonhaeng (天行, epidemic). It is used for strange occurrences in the house as well.
