竹茹 Daenamu Sokkkeopjil (대나무 속껍질)
Jugyeo is the fine shavings scraped from the inner layer of a green bamboo culm once the outer skin is stripped off. Bamboo entered the text part by part, leaf as jugyeop and sap as jungnyeok, and jugyeo is the stem's inner tissue.

主嘔噦咳逆. 止肺痿吐唾血, 鼻衄崩中.
It governs retching, hiccup, and cough with rising qi. It halts the vomiting and spitting of blood from pyewi (肺痿, lung atrophy), as well as nosebleed and bungjung (崩中, flooding).

卽刮靑竹皮也. 《本草》
It is precisely the shaved skin of green bamboo. 《Boncho (本草)》
HomiclubThis means the shavings scraped in thread-like strands from just beneath the green outer skin, after that skin has been peeled thin. Herb markets still sell it bundled in the same thread form.
