  1. 名蓬蕽, 主霍亂大善.

    It is called bongnong (蓬蕽); it governs gwallan (霍亂, sudden vomiting and diarrhoea) very well.

    HomiclubThis entry follows the preceding one on reed root and refers to the flower of the same plant. The common reed is a tall perennial grass that forms dense stands along rivers and tidal flats; in autumn its purple plume ripens into a grey, downy head.
