茅鍼 Tti Eorin Sun (띠 어린 순)

Mochim is the young flower spike of cogongrass, pulled before it opens. Korean children once chewed it as ppilgi, a faintly sweet snack picked out of spring fields. The Dongui Bogam glosses the name plainly: it is the shoot of the tti grass.
