Jigolpi is the root bark of the goji shrub, the same plant as the gugija in the crop guide. The red berry is gugija and the leaf gugiyeop, while the bark of the root carries its own name, jigolpi. It appears as a short sub-entry in the tree section of Dongui Bogam.
