棕櫚皮 Jongnyeonamu Kkeopjil (종려나무 껍질)
Jongnyeopi is the fibrous sheath wrapping the trunk of the windmill palm. Coarse as a horse's mane and reddish black, the same fiber is still twisted into brooms and rope. The text says it was charred just short of burning away, and marked it 【唐】 as an import from China.
