1. 性微溫一云平

   성미온일운평

   Its nature is slightly warm, though some sources describe it as neutral.

2. 味苦

   미고

   The taste is bitter.

3. 無毒

   무독

   It is non-toxic.

4. 破留血癥結

   파류혈징결

   It breaks up stagnant blood and dissolves hardened masses within the body.

5. 通利月水

   통리월수

   It promotes smooth and regular menstrual flow.

6. 下産後惡血

   하산후악혈

   It expels residual lochia and impure blood after childbirth.

7. 排膿

   배농

   It drains pus, supporting the healing of wounds.

8. 主瘡癤癰毒

   주창절옹독

   It treats sores, boils, and toxic swellings of the skin.

9. 撲損瘀血

   박손어혈

   It resolves bruising and blood stasis from blows or injuries.

10. 利小便

    이소변

    It promotes urination.

11. 通五淋

    통오림

    It relieves the five types of stranguria, conditions marked by difficult or obstructed urination.

12. 一名苦杖

    일명고장

    It is also called gojang, meaning bitter staff.

13. 一名大蟲杖

    일명대충장

    Another name is daechungjang, literally tiger staff, referring to its striped stem.

14. 莖如竹笋狀

    경여죽순상

    The stem resembles a young bamboo shoot in shape.

15. 上有赤斑點
