淡竹葉 Soomdaennip (소옴댓닙)
Damjungyeop is the leaf of somdae bamboo, 'soomdaetnip' in old Korean. The Woods section splits bamboo into several entries such as jungnyeok, the sap, and jungnyeo, the shavings; this one covers the leaf.

性寒, 味甘, 無毒. 消痰淸熱.
Its nature is cold, its taste sweet, and it is non-toxic. It dissolves phlegm and clears heat.
HomiclubDamjugyeop is the leaf of the somdae bamboo. Young culms of this species are dusted with a white bloom that looks like cotton wadding, which is where its name, and the old Korean form soomdaennip, comes from.

主中風失音不語, 壯熱頭痛. 止驚悸, 溫疫狂悶.
It governs loss of voice and speechlessness from jungpung (中風, wind stroke), as well as intense fever and headache. It halts gyeonggye (驚悸, fright palpitations) and the mad oppression of onyeok (溫疫, warm epidemic).
