槐膠 Hoehwanamu Jin (회화나무 진)
Goegyo is the hardened gum of the Chinese scholar tree. It seeps from a wound in the trunk and sets into a resin; Donguibogam's wood section noted in a few lines that it was never taken alone but blended into mixed preparations.

主急風口噤, 或四肢不收, 或破傷風, 口眼喎斜, 筋脉抽掣, 腰脊强硬.
It governs clenched jaw from sudden wind, inability to draw in the four limbs, and lockjaw with the mouth and eyes drawn awry, twitching sinews and vessels, and a stiff, rigid lower back and spine.
HomiclubGoegyo is the gum that oozes from a wound in the scholar tree's trunk and hardens. It is the same kind of exudate that beads on the trunks of cherry and peach trees.
