天竺黃 Cheonchukhwang (천축황)
Cheonchukhwang is a mass that hardens inside the joints of bamboo, also called jukgo. Dongui Bogam describes it sitting in the cane like packed yellow clay before it sets into flakes. It is marked 【唐】, coming from the southern coast and from Cheonchuk — that is, India.
