紫礦 Jagwang Jindeongi (자광 진덩이)
Jagwang is tree resin hardened into lumps, described as looking like weathered stone. The text files it alongside hyeolgal while noting the two are different things. As a red resin it is sometimes compared with the lac of later trade.

治濕痒瘡疥癬.
It treats damp itching sores, scabies, and ringworm.
HomiclubJagwang is taken to be the red resin that lac insects secrete onto twigs and leave hardened there. Gathered in India and Southeast Asia, it is the raw material of shellac and of red lac dye, and it still serves in woodwork finishes and in the coating of tablets.
