梢 Gamcho Janppuri (감초 잔뿌리)
Cho names the fine tail roots at the end of a licorice root, kept apart from the thick main body. They are slender, small and bland-tasting. Splitting a single root into separately named parts like this is rarely done now.

This is the tip and tail of the gamcho root — the slender, small part whose taste is bland.
HomiclubHere a single root is split into body and rootlets and used separately. Gamcho today is usually sliced whole, so the distinction has all but disappeared.
