  1. 名小草.

    It is named socho (小草, little grass).

    HomiclubThe root was called wonji, "far-reaching will," while the leaf was called socho, "little grass." Two parts of one plant were thus given names of quite different character.

  2. 主益精, 止虛損夢泄. 《本草》

    It chiefly augments jeong (精, essence) and stops nocturnal emission arising from depletion. 《Boncho (本草)》
