About

The Homiclub Story

We gather stories about growing, eating, and thriving with crops in the city — starting as a place to read, growing into a place to grow together.

Homiclub is an urban-gardening content magazine. For anyone starting with a single balcony pot or a square of rooftop soil, we lay out what to plant, when, and how to eat it — accurately and warmly.

The name “Homi”

A homi is a small hand hoe that fits the palm. The name says you can touch soil and tend crops without grand equipment. Anyone, in a small way, right now — that’s what urban gardening means to us.

What we cover

Homiclub covers three things today.

  • Columns — health, seasonal, and cooking stories you can use right away
  • Crop Guide — sowing times, growing tips, pairings, and benefits for 60-plus crops
  • Dongui Bogam — Korea’s 1613 medical classic, read in plain language alongside the original text
Start as a site to read; grow into a site we write together.

Where we’re headed

For now it’s a place to read, but soon it will grow into a club (community) where you log your own plot and share harvests with neighboring homis. Garden journals, a harvest pantry, a homi yard — we’ll open these sharing features one by one.
