粟米泔汁 Songmigamjeup (속미감즙)

Sokmigamjeup is the water left from rinsing foxtail millet. The old Korean gloss, jossal sin tteumul — 'soured millet rinse water' — points to water that has fermented and turned sour. Dongui Bogam rates the sharpest-smelling water highest and lists washing with the sour rinse as a use of its own.
