蘿摩子 새박 (나마자)

性溫, 味甘辛, 無毒.
성온, 미감신, 무독.
Its nature is warm, its taste sweet and pungent, and it is non-toxic. It warms the body while remaining gentle to take.

主虛勞, 能補益.
주허로, 능보익.
It treats deficiency and overstrain, replenishing and strengthening the body. It suits those whose vitality has waned from prolonged fatigue.

處處有之.
처처유지.
It grows everywhere across the land. One need not search far, as it is easily found in fields and along roadsides.

葉食之, 功同於子.
엽식지, 공동어자.
Eating the leaves yields the same benefit as the seeds. One can obtain the same restorative power from the leaves alone, without waiting for the fruit.

蔓生, 斷之有白汁.
만생, 단지유백즙.
It grows as a vine, and when cut releases a white sap. This milky fluid is the telltale sign by which the plant is recognized.
