垣衣 담우희잇기 (원의)

1. 性冷, 味酸, 無毒.

   성랭, 미산, 무독.

   Its nature is cold, its taste sour, and it is non-toxic. A cooling, astringent herb.

2. 主黃疸心煩, 暴熱在腸胃.

   주황달심번, 폭열재장위.

   It treats jaundice and restless heat in the chest, as well as sudden heat lodged in the stomach and intestines, clearing pent-up internal heat.

3. 卽古墻北陰靑苔衣也. 《本草》

   즉고장북음청태의야. 《본초》

   It is the green moss-coat that grows on the shaded north side of old walls. Because it thrives where sunlight never reaches, it naturally takes on a cold property. From the Bencao.
