松蘿 송라 (송라)

  1. 性平一云微熱, 味苦甘一云苦辛, 無毒.

    성평일운미열, 미고감일운고신, 무독.

    Its nature is neutral, though some sources describe it as slightly warm. The taste is bitter and sweet, with some calling it bitter and pungent. It has no toxicity.

  2. 主寒熱溫瘧, 能吐胸中客熱痰涎.

    주한열온학, 능토흉중객열담연.

    It treats malarial fevers marked by alternating chills and heat. It also helps expel lingering heat and sticky phlegm trapped in the chest.

  3. 利水道, 去頭瘡, 消項上癭瘤, 除嗔怒邪氣, 令人得睡.

    이수도, 거두창, 소항상영류, 제진노사기, 영인득수.

    It promotes urination and clears sores on the head. It dissolves goiters on the neck, drives away the harmful energy that stirs anger, and helps a person fall asleep.

  4. 一名女蘿, 松樹上寄生也.

    일명여라, 송수상기생야.

    It is also called yeora. It grows as a parasite clinging to pine trees.

  5. 五月採, 陰乾, 在松上者爲眞. 《本草》

    오월채, 음건, 재송상자위진. 《본초》

    It is gathered in the fifth month and dried in the shade. The genuine kind is the one found growing on pine trees. From the Bencao.
